JOANNE ASMAN ~ Founder & CEO
After many years working full time in the medical field and part time with horses, Joanne turned her hobby into a profession. Over the past 30 years, she has owned, trained and shown many horses, ridden in the Pasadena Tournament of the Roses 14 times, and provided and managed equestrian and animal performers for live events, film, print and television.
As owner of highly acclaimed Burbank, CA-based entertainment and event planning company Asman & Associates, LLC, Joanne has produced countless charity equestrian events, including Fiesta of the Spanish Horse, Festival of the Animals, the Burbank Celebrity Tournament of Horses equestrian show, among others.
Joanne has coordinated and/or furnished entertainment (including animals, Olympic athletes, musicians, bands, dancers, etc.) for numerous other events, including the annual Renaissance Pleasure Faire’s Equestrian Program, the Super Bowl, the NFL Media Super Bowl Party Western States Horse Expo, The Nutcracker, celebrity fan appreciation receptions and large parties. She is the owner and provider of USC’s famed mascot, Traveler®.
EMILY GONZALEZ
Administrative Assistant
Originally from Sarasota Florida, Emily graduated from The University of Central Florida with a degree in Psychology.
Emily has been living in California with her husband and 3 children since 2000, and happily joined the team at Asman and Associates in 2018 as Administrative Assistant. As such, she is integral to day to day operations, and manages the inventory for our store.

For many years, Joanne enjoyed an eclectic career behind the scenes in entertainment as a personal assistant, and as coordinator and production manager of numerous special events, concerts, and award shows in the US and UK. Currently, she works as a voice actor, project manager, writer/editor and graphic artist. She produces campaigns, gala programs, playbills and books, ghost-edited a celebrity autobiography, and is an award-winning fine artist and writer.
